Hi,
My Auntie lost her Mum in November 2006 (my Nan) & her beloved dog of 16years nearly two months ago.
Any advice how I can help her through this time? Anything that helped you?

I know how it feels as I lost the man that was like a Dad to me in 2002 aged 57. Obviously just lost my Nan too, various animals and also I have lost 4 dogs in 9 years....I know just how bad it feels, and the things you do & dont want to hear at that time.
But still, I have run out of words to say that can help my Auntie,I am always there if she needs me, but I dont feel it's enough, as she seems to be getting worse, not better.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hii Angel...so sorry for replying late. This is so sad, I can understand the pain of losing sopmeone dear to you. When I lost my grandpa, I also felt extremely sad and he was so caring and always gave us everything we asked for.

My granny too was like your aunt, she remained like that for quite a long period then, we took really care of her and we made her think about everything else apart from the death of grandpa.

But, you know, you can never forget someone who has left this world because he will always be in your heart and you can think about that special person anytime. But, what can be done is to learn to live without that particular person.

Try to take your aunty out, make her understand that it was her time and that when it's the time to left this world, no one can do anything, cause it's your destiny.

Big Hugs to you hun and your aunt too...
