Local Band

Theres this really awsome band from my town called The Girlfriend Season. I've seen them live twice and it was really cool. They play like rock/powerpop/electronic. TGS has been playing in a lot of different cities lately (all within 5 hours of us which is pretty close for us). They played on the unsigned stage on The Warped Tour when it went through a city 3 hrs away.
My friends and I have met them and want them to be famous cuz theyre way cool.

I saw The Penguins (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=148846891) when I was up in Vancouver Canada. They are not quite as good but they were nice guys and the lead singers only 13 so maybe they can get better.They are rock.

My mate is in a band and gets a lot of requests to join peoples bands and play guitar

He rocks at Screamo

I made my own band but i have no members xD Maybe I could ask Jack to join

I wud play guitar and sing in it

I had a listen Maria they sound good! I hope they do get somewhere I know it is hard for bands, some are really great but just dont seem to get their lucky break in life.
My sister and I used to follow a band called The Floating Greyhounds! ERM well looking back on it we went a little too mad! Followed them everywhere for a few years, they were a lot older but I dont think they ever wanted to be famous.

Now I havent got a clue whats going on round here...shame I am so boring these days! xx

ooh screamo! yay! i'm going to learn to play the bass guitar, maybe we should start a band! Lol that would rock. I am supersupersuper obsessed with the band AFI. They have a really really (and i mean really) devoted fans. Me having two posters at each house and 2 band tees buttons stickers patches notebooks pencils plus 5 their 7 cds (not to mention live cds eps and downloads from the internet) and i'm not even close to being what some people are! I know all the words. The thing abut AFI (A Fire Inside) is , well i dont know but some people are just... drawn to them. I'm straightedge and vegitarian cuz of them.

PS what shall we call our band?

pps AFI's guitarist (Jade Puget) has a dog named Munch. Hows that for obsessive?!?!

hmmmm, we do need a drummer, or we could be one of those indie bands. do you play acordian kaytee? Suicide on the stairs sounds cool. we could be SOS! or SOTS but i like SOS better.My friend and I always thought Tastes Like Valentines would be cool (after that Marilyn Manson song, Putting Holes In Happiness. blow out the candles, all my frankensteins/ least my deathwish will come true/ tastes like valentines). And what type of music shall we play? I'd say screamo but *tearing up

* Alternative Press says its dead. So maybe we'll play post-screamo (hey, if they have post-harcore and post-punk I'm sure there can be post screamo. well be the first!)

oh dear,i just read what i wrote and saw that i said undie instead of indie.(any idea what sort of music undie is? perhaps we should play it!)

Tastes Like Valentines sounds awesome

and yeah SOS could be the shorter version of SOTS so it's coolier
