Wow, I haven't been on here for forever! Well here's a new one . .
I have a really good friend, and we've been friends for about four years and we consider ourselves bestfriends. Over the summer I started to get a crush on her brother. The problem is I'm a freshman and he's a senior! I mean my other bestfriend's parents are 10 years apart but it's different when your younger. I would tell my friends, but the problem is my other best friend (I have like 7 bestfriends ) likes her brother too! But all they do is make fun of her for it. When ever they ask who I who I like have to lie, and I don't want to keep secrets; but I'm afriad I'll be worse off if I tell them.
What do I do?

I would say...
Well, this happened to my friend. My other friend is the youngest of 8 (2 marriges) and the second youngest graduated last year. And I mean, he is a good looking guy, but I didn't crush or anything. But one of my friends did. So yeah. It didn't work. For one, he already had a girlfriend(s. He was that kind of guy)
I think, just chill. It might make it awkward to be around either one. Once one of my friends had a crush on my brother, and I was torn between telling my brother and keeping a secret. If you guys did end up together, how awkward would that be for the sister and the other best friend?
This is pretty unhelpful, but let me know how this goes! _________________ I know its sad I never gave a damn about the weather, it never gave a damn about me. |

No your information was very helpful. And with the friend that likes her brother, they only think she does because she's always trying to talk to him and about him.
The other thing is he isn't just good looking, he's really nice. He would give us rides to and from the dances and diferent school activities (yet I doubt he knows my name). And according to my friend, he's only had two or three girlfriends. Thanks again queenmaria, it's really help me think it through. _________________ I wanna wear my hair up in a mess

I think that you should be honest to your bestfriend about your feelings to her brother. It's really hard not to know if your bestfriend likes you for her brother or not. You can also try to find out if the brother is interested in you or your other bestfriend. In that way, you really don't have to make a fool of yourself.

Thanks for the help with this. It's been over a year now since my first post on this subject. I'm starting 10th grade tomorrow. My best friend's brother just moved off to college and I've been doing everything to forget about him. I'm pretty much over him. If nothing has happened between us already, it probably never will. There's a huge chance that I will never see him again, and I'm okay with that. Thank you to everyone to helped me with this.
