Oh my gosh, so sorry to hear that you have been through such a terrible thing.
My nan died last December, we all expected it really but it didnt make it any easier.
Right now you must be hurting so much but this is normal, do not be afraid to cry let yourself grieve, your grandfather is in a nice place now where he will be well again and with all the other relatives you have loved and lost, know that he is never far away and will be looking over you and very proud of his grand daughter.
I wish there was something I could say to help you, I am thinking of you, give yourself time, take one step at a time, do you have family you can talk to for support?
My thoughts are with you sending a hug your way at this difficult time xx

My granddad died from cancer too. About a week afer my 11th birthday. My mom was gone for my (and my brothers we're twins) bithday that year. What we all tried to remember was cool things about him. What can you remembr the most about him? I kept the birthday card he gave me, he had signed it from the hospital. Do you have anything that he gave you to keep close?

Well I got one of his ties. I was hoping he would make it to my b-day. He did not. My b-day is the 18th of this month.

Oh I am sorry to hear that, I hope you will find the strength to get through this and I hope you have family to support you.
Keep his tie close to you, But Know he lives on in your hearts.
Thinking of you xxx
