My granny is 70 years old. Her bone density had been declining year after year since she has been diagnosed with osteoporosis. She has been taking medication for years but no improvement. Lately I've heard of Boniva from a friend and I would like to have more information on that medication. Have anyone ever taken Boniva to treat osteoporosis. Has it been effective??

Hi helena,
So sorry to hear about your gran being unwell. Unfortunately I don't know much about the drug Bonvia you mentioned but I Have found the website all about it, I hope by reading this it will help you in someway?
Is there a chance you could talk to one of your relatives about this idea? maybe someone can talk to her doctor? Is she on treatment at the moment? as I wonder whether the doctor may have discussed this allready? it is hard to know and I am sorry to not be of much help, I wish your gran well hope she will improve.
Sending a hug your way xx

Hi!
I agree with you here. It is important that you seek the advice of a doctor so you will be aware about what Bonvia does. My gran is older (she's 97) but she never took any medicines, maybe there are other ways to help her.
