Skin rash

Does anyone knows about skin rashes or skin disease which comes up with inflammations and itching. My mother who 50 years old now has got a kind of skin disease and she doesn't want to go to the doctor . Her skin is red and it is always itching. I have been through the net and have came through many remedies but don't which one to use which will be effective. I can't see my mother in this condition. While surfing on the net, I came across a cream called clocreme.
Is it advisable to use this medicine without prescribtion??

hi Helena i am so sorry to hear your mum is suffering from this skin rash,
I must ask you how long has she had it now? where abouts is this rash if you dont mind me asking? I ask this so i can get a better idea as to what it could be, I am not a doctor but I will do my very best to give you my opinion.

I found this website it gives you some information on the cream you mentioned
http://medsafe.govt.nz/Consumers/cmi/c/ClocremeTop.htm
I am not sure but I think by reading what the website says I think it could be a prescription cream.

It is very hard to say which cream will be effective as not knowing what the rash is actually like, it could simply be a allergic reaction to something, A bite or a change of washing powder? Or something like that.

On the other hand it could be something that needs a certain cream and to really know how to treat this properly your mum needs to see her doctor.

Do you know why she dosent want to see him? is it that she is maybe embarrassed or that she is worried about wasting his time? If it is this try to assure her if you can that it is a doctors job to help her and she would never be wasting his/her time thats what they are there for.

you could try some creams you can get over the counter in the chemist, such as sudocrem it is a safe creme as it is used in babies but adults can use it if you read on lower down the page on this link it tells you about it
http://www.sudocrem.co.uk/what-is-sudocrem.html

I hope I have helped a little, this maybe nothing serious, your mum could have eczema or a infection in the skin all can be healed with the right treatment, If you want to please let me know a bit more about what this rash is like, like I said I am not a doctor I can only give you my opinion and I truly hope it helps you somehow.

take care xx
