My friend

One of my friends died. None of us know how or anything (she was out of town) and its put me and my friends in shock. She wasnt one of my closest friends right now, but we were good friends in elementary, and still hung out sometimes. It scares me and my friends. How could some one our age die? We never die, we backflip off roofs onto trampolines and are just fine. Alesha is not coming back and she was only 14. Its hit some of my friends harder than other, because weve all known her forever (for me, second grade. she was one of my first friends when i moved to where i live now).
What should we do? We dont want it to spread around the school, and we can't seem to figure it out.

Oh Maria, I am so so sorry to hear the news about your friend.
I Understand it has been a shock to you, whatever age you are it is never easy to hear such news.
I wish I could think of something to say to help you but words never seem enough in these situations, Apart from suffering grief at the moment it seems you are also all suffering confusion as you are not totally clear on what happened, I know finding out will not ease the pain but if you want to know is there anyone you can ask?

I know where you are coming from, this was so unexpected and you feel numb, stunned and in disbelief, I pray for you all and Alesha and her family.

As hard as it is think of her and the memories, she knows you are greatful for your times together, I am sure you were all very blessed to know her and I am sure you were a great part of her life too.

I am sorry to not be of much help, we are always here for you and your friends if there is ever anything you want to talk about.
My thoughts are with you xx

We found out why. It was cardiac arrest combined with some other stuff. For a while there was rumor she killed herself. Today over the intercom at school they said what happened, which killed the rumor. But now everyone is like "oh we were best friends" and all, but alot of them dont even know her. Her funeral was th morning, but I couldnt go. Some of my friends went though and said it was nice (well not nice, but you know, nice).
